This happens with Outlook 2013 and 2016 when using multiple accounts on the same profile. I would recommend changing the default search to be on the current mailbox. The fact of the matter is, no matter if you use the built-in apps or Outlook, you CAN NOT open any shared mailboxes or calendars from Exchange on iPhone. It's not supported. The only way you will be able to do this on an iPhone is through the browser. Maybe the Office 365 Groups app will be your answer, instead of using shared mailboxes.
